Oracle is the name of a Database management system developed by "Oracle Corporation". It was the first company to offer a true RDBMS. Oracle is an RDBMS as it stores and manages data using relational model. Users of oracle use logical view of data. Users are not aware how the data is actually stored on the disk, ie Physical structure of the database is hidden from users.
